The college offers one of the following subjects as Major subject in the T.D.C. Major Course:

Arts :

English, Assamese, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, Education, Geography, History, Mathematics and Philosophy.

Science :

Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geography and Mathematics.

Note : No student can offer Major in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics if he/she fails in Mathematics at HS final Exam.

Combination Bar :

TDC Arts Students will have to offer one major subject and one optional subject apart from English and MIL as compulsory subjects. The Students will have to select/take any one subjects from the following groups. Pass course students will have to select two optional subjects from the follwing groups, selecting only one from each group :

Group A : Economics/ Adv. Languages/ Philosophy.

Group B : Political Science/ Mathematics/ History.

Group C : Education/ Geography/ Anthropology.

Group D : Computer Application/ Information Technology.

Admission Procedure :

Students who seek admission can apply for admission in one of the courses in prescribed admission forms. Admission to the college is strictly on the basis of merit and interview. The decision of the college authority would be final in this regard. The Cut mark for major is 45% in the concerned subject. The candidates will have to submit the following testimonials in original at the time of interview :

a) Mark-sheet and certificate of qualifying examination in Original.

b) Caste certificate in case of those applying against quota.

c) Age certificate.

d) Gap certificate in case of those who pass the qualifying examination earlier than the current year.

e) Extra-curricular activities certificate, if any.

Students who are selected for admission shall deposit the entire fees at the cash counter and only then his/her admission would be confirmed. Once a student is admitted to any course, he/she shall be given an identity card and the identity card should be produced if and when demanded.
